Barwon Heads Resort

Quality resort accommodation in Barwon Heads on the Bellarine Peninsula just 20km from Geelong.

Barwon Heads Resort is located on the southern shores of the Bellarine Peninsula and is just over an hours drive from Melbourne. Barwon Heads is one of Victoria’s most popular and picturesque seaside villages.
The small township sits on the western bank of the Barwon River, popular for fishing and boating, which flows from Lake Connewarre and the surrounding wetlands to the north.

Since the filming of the popular Seachange television series in the late 90’s, Barwon Heads has attracted increasing numbers of holidaymakers and home buyers, giving the town an upmarket appeal as attractive retail stores and restaurants have developed along Hitchcock Avenue, the town’s main street.

Barwon Heads Resort at 13th Beach is a five minute drive from the township and a fifteen minute drive to the historic township of Queenscliff.

The restaurant is open every weekend on Fridays and Saturday night for dinner and Saturday and Sunday for breakfast. Please note in low season, the restaurant is contingent upon bookings and occupancy so may be closed due to low numbers.

Private dining and functions are available throughout the year for 12 guests and above.
